We currently are working on direct hire openings for SQL DBA's/Developers for one of our clients here in the metro.



Title: SQL DBA

Skills: Design, implementation, and maintain SQL Server database environments. Develop databases to support web based, high-volume transaction applications.



Job description:

Must be a US Citizen, Greencard or EAD.

Build and maintain moderately complex stored procedures in collaboration with.NET programmers.

* Develop data extracts from existing SQL databases.

* Participate in the analysis, design, development and implementation of assigned project(s).

* Provide daily direction and guidance on the development, maintenance, and support standards of the database administration team.

* Utilize and assist with enhancing Web Services best practices.

Essentials;

* Proven experience in a Microsoft SQL Server environment including the use of Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, Profiler, and other tools as needed in a MS SQL Server suite.

* Data Transformation and Analysis in both normalized and de-normalized data environments from a wide variety of data sources.

* Experience with the development and support of web enabled database applications.

* Data Modeling: Experience with synthesizing requirements from business users and transforming them into logical and physical design using database design tools.

* Experience with support and administration of multi-database environments including SQL Clustering and various SAN storage solutions.

* Familiarity with transformation and scheduling tools such as Data Junction and Automate.
