Gain valuable experience working with diverse populations and make a difference in the lives of others!
AmeriCorps is a National Service program for adults of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. It is sometimes referred to as the "domestic Peace Corps." AmeriCorps members help solve community problems related to education, public safety, the environment, human needs, and homeland security by serving at non-profit and faith-based organizations throughout the country.
Work in Progress AmeriCorps members commit to one year of service, September 4, 2007- August 31, 2008 . We still have three community integration positions available at sites in Crystal, St. Paul and Minneapolis. Do activities with older adults with disabilities in the community that they would not otherwise be able to participate in like movies, games, outings, art and music projects. Put your creativity to work and get "paid" for doing fun activities in the community.
Receive a monthly
living allowance,
health insurance,
loan forbearance and valuable
training while you serve and an
education award upon completion of your hours!
